Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Scoresby in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (364 females or 24.6%)
  • Education and Training (187 females or 12.7%)
  • Retail Trade (168 females or 11.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 719 females in total or 48.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Knox employed 23.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.0% in Education and Training; and 12.0% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Scoresby and the City of Knox were:
