Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Boronia in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,122 males or 18.5%)
  • Manufacturing (741 males or 12.2%)
  • Retail Trade (538 males or 8.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,401 males in total or 39.6% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Knox employed 17.1% in Construction; 11.6% in Manufacturing; and 9.5% in Retail Trade.
