Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Lysterfield in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (420 males or 21.0%)
  • Retail Trade (223 males or 11.1%)
  • Manufacturing (220 males or 11.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 863 males in total or 43.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Bayswater employed 16.6% in Construction; 8.6% in Retail Trade; and 12.7% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Lysterfield and Bayswater were:
