Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Boronia in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,122 males or 18.5%)
  • Manufacturing (741 males or 12.2%)
  • Retail Trade (538 males or 8.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,401 males in total or 39.6% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Bayswater employed 16.6% in Construction; 12.7% in Manufacturing; and 8.6% in Retail Trade.

The major difference between the jobs held by the male population of Boronia and Bayswater was:

  • A larger percentage of males employed in construction (18.5% compared to 16.6%)
