Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Boronia in 2021 compared to the City of Knox shows that there was a similar proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a similar proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 18.3% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 16.1% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 18.1% and 16.4% respectively for the City of Knox.

The major differences between the male age structure of Boronia and the City of Knox were:
