Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resident population in City of Knox in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Total employed persons aged 15+ (459 people or 100.0%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (79 people or 17.2%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (71 people or 15.5%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 609 people in total or 132.7% of the employed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resident population.
The major differences between the occupations held by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population of the City of Knox and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander of Eastern Metropolitan Region were:
