Analysis of the car ownership of the households in the City of Knox in 2021 compared to Rowville (North) shows that 93.0% of the households owned at least one car, while 3.7% did not, compared with 95.8% and 1.9% respectively in Rowville (North).
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 30.1% of the households owned one car; 41.5% owned two cars; and 21.5% owned three cars or more, compared with 23.6%; 44.3% and 27.9% respectively for Rowville (North).
