The major differences in the female age groups reporting a need for assistance in Friberg Ward and the City of Knox were:

- A smaller percentage of females aged 75 to 79 (10.9% compared to 18.6%)
- A smaller percentage of females aged 85 and over (52.0% compared to 59.1%)
