Dominant groups
Analysis of the qualifications of people aged 55 to 64 years in the City of Knox in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne shows that there was a similar proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of people with no formal qualifications.
The major differences between qualifications held by people aged 55 to 64 years of the City of Knox and Greater Melbourne were:
- A larger percentage of people with Vocational qualifications (21.9% compared to 18.5%)
- A larger percentage of people with Advanced Diploma or Diplomas (12.4% compared to 11.1%)
- A larger percentage of people with No qualifications (37.9% compared to 36.7%)
