Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the male population in Kawana in 2021 compared to Rockhampton shows that there was a lower proportion of males holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of males with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 42.4% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 43.4% had no qualifications, compared with 45.5% and 42.5% respectively for Rockhampton.
