There were more female clerical and administrative workers in Rural South East in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Rural South East in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (133 females or 24.3%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (114 females or 20.8%)
  • Professionals (81 females or 14.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 328 females in total or 60.0% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Frenchville employed 24.3% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 18.2% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 26.4% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Rural South East and Frenchville were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Labourers (11.5% compared to 6.8%)
