Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Allenstown in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (84 males or 13.9%)
  • Construction (75 males or 12.4%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (60 males or 9.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 219 males in total or 36.3% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Gracemere employed 4.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.3% in Construction; and 5.9% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Allenstown and Gracemere were:
