Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the female population in the RDA Northern Territory in 2021 compared to Greater Darwin shows that there was a lower proportion of females holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of females with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 48.6% of the female population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 38.9% had no qualifications, compared with 56.5% and 32.6% respectively for Greater Darwin.

The major differences between qualifications held by the female population of the RDA Northern Territory and Greater Darwin were:
