An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Cartwright in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

- Clerical and Administrative Workers (37 females or 16.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 128 females in total or 57.7% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, Edmondson Park employed 14.5% in Community and Personal Service Workers; 20.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 5.5% in Labourers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Cartwright and Edmondson Park were:
