Prestons is bounded by Hoxton Park Road in the north, Maxwells Creek, Wonga Road and Kurrajong Road in the east, the South Western Motorway and Camden Valley Way in the south and Cabramatta Creek in the west.

Settlement history

Development of the area dates primarily from the late 1980s. Rapid growth took place during the 1990s, with the population quadrupling between 1996 and 2001. The population continued to increase between 2001 and 2011, a result of new dwellings continued to be added to the area.

Prestons is a recent residential and industrial area.

Major features of the area include Ash Road Sporting Complex, Sportsworld Liverpool, Liverpool Catholic Club Sporting and Events Complex, Dalmeny Reserve, Harvard Park and numerous schools.
