There were more male technicians and trades workers in Liverpool LGA in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Liverpool LGA in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (9,429 males or 19.8%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (7,837 males or 16.5%)
  • Professionals (7,796 males or 16.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 25,062 males in total or 52.6% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Casula employed 19.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 15.8% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 16.2% in Professionals.

The major difference between the jobs held by the male population of Liverpool LGA and Casula was:

  • A smaller percentage of males employed as Sales Workers (6.1% compared to 7.1%)
