Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Busby in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (144 people or 13.2%)
- Retail Trade (132 people or 12.1%)
- Transport, Postal and Warehousing (121 people or 11.1%)
In combination, these three industries employed 397 people in total or 36.4% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, Austral employed 14.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.2% in Retail Trade; and 8.8% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Busby and Austral were:
