Analysis of the household/family types in Casula in 2021 compared to Liverpool LGA shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a similar proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 45.2% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 14.1% were one-parent families, compared with 44.2% and 14.2% respectively for Liverpool LGA.
There were a similar proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 16.5% compared to 16.3% in Liverpool LGA while the proportion of couples without children was 17.6% compared to 17.0% in Liverpool LGA.
