Analysis of the household/family types in Liverpool in 2021 compared to Edmondson Park shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 28.2% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 14.1% were one-parent families, compared with 57.5% and 8.2% respectively for Edmondson Park.
There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 26.3% compared to 10.3% in Edmondson Park while the proportion of couples without children was 17.1% compared to 16.3% in Edmondson Park.
