Analysis of the share of the male population attending educational institutions in Austral in 2021 compared to Liverpool LGA shows that there was a similar proportion attending primary school, a lower proportion attending secondary school, and a lower proportion engaged in tertiary level education.
Overall, 9.8% of the male population were attending primary school, 6.3% of the male population were attending secondary institutions, and 5.1% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 9.9%, 7.9% and 6.4% respectively for Liverpool LGA.
The major differences between the share of the male population attending learning institutions in Austral and Liverpool LGA were:
