Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Lurnea in 2021 compared to Edmondson Park shows that 81.4% of the households owned at least one car, while 9.6% did not, compared with 91.1% and 3.0% respectively in Edmondson Park.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 33.6% of the households owned one car; 30.1% owned two cars; and 17.6% owned three cars or more, compared with 30.2%; 42.4% and 18.4% respectively for Edmondson Park.
