Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in St George Region in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (34,402 people or 27.5%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (18,532 people or 14.8%)
  • Managers (16,390 people or 13.1%)

In comparison, Georges River Council area employed 28.0% in Professionals; 14.9% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 13.1% in Managers.
