An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Mortdale in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (880 females or 32.4%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (651 females or 23.9%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (375 females or 13.8%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,906 females in total or 70.1% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, Georges River Council area employed 31.1% in Professionals; 21.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 14.7% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Mortdale and Georges River Council area were:
- A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (23.9% compared to 21.5%)
