Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Allawah in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (378 females or 30.2%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (226 females or 18.1%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (212 females or 16.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 816 females in total or 65.2% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Georges River Council area employed 31.1% in Professionals; 14.7% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 21.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Allawah and Georges River Council area were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Labourers (8.8% compared to 5.4%)
  • A larger percentage of females employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (18.1% compared to 14.7%)
