Dominant groups

In 2016, there were 139 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in South East Corner, compared with 663 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).

Analysis of the method of travel to work of the residents in South East Corner in 2016, compared to the City of Adelaide, shows that 8.0% used public transport, while 38.3% used a private vehicle, compared with 11.9% and 38.9% respectively in the City of Adelaide.

The major differences in persons between the method of travel to work of South East Corner and the City of Adelaide were:
