Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Fraser Rise in 2021 compared to Western Region shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 28.9% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 3.9% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 21.6% and 11.0% respectively for Western Region.
