Dominant groups

Analysis of the country of birth of the population in Aintree in 2016 compared to City of Melton shows that there was a similar proportion of people born overseas, and a similar proportion of people from a non-English speaking background.

Overall, 30.1% of the population was born overseas, and 27.4% were from a non-English speaking background, compared with 29.9% and 24.7% respectively for City of Melton.

The major difference between the countries of birth of the population in Aintree and City of Melton was:
