Dominant groups
Analysis of the unpaid child care provided by the male population in Alice Springs Town Council LGA in 2021 compared to Central Desert Regional Council LGA shows that there was a lower proportion of males who provided unpaid child care either to their own or to other children. Overall, 23.7% of the male population provided unpaid child care, compared with 39.2% for Central Desert Regional Council LGA.
