Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Big Rivers in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (776 males or 22.4%)
  • Labourers (548 males or 15.8%)
  • Managers (514 males or 14.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,838 males in total or 53.2% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Victoria Daly Regional Council LGA employed 12.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 30.6% in Labourers; and 15.7% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Big Rivers and Victoria Daly Regional Council LGA were:
