Analysis of male individual income levels in Central Desert Regional Council LGA in 2021 compared to Australia shows that there was a lower proportion of males earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a higher proportion of low income males (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 6.3% of the male population earned a high income, and 58.4% earned a low income, compared with 17.0% and 27.0% respectively for Australia.
