Dominant groups

Analysis of the five year age groups of the RDA Northern Territory in 2021 compared to Belyuen Community Government Council LGA shows that there was a higher proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a higher proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 21.0% of the population was aged between 0 and 15, and 8.9% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 14.2% and 6.7% respectively for Belyuen Community Government Council LGA.
