The Number of Bedrooms in a dwelling is an indicator of the size of dwellings, and when combined with Dwelling Type information, provides insight into the role the City of Palmerston LGA plays in the housing market. Dominant groups
Analysis of the number of bedrooms in dwellings in City of Palmerston LGA in 2021 compared to East Arnhem LGA - Nhulunbuy - Alyangula shows that there was a lower proportion of dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and a higher proportion of dwellings with 4 or more bedrooms.
Overall, 17.0% of households were in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and 31.1% of 4 or more bedroom dwellings, compared with 25.4% and 15.4% for East Arnhem LGA - Nhulunbuy - Alyangula respectively.
