Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Newcastle West in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (89 females or 23.9%)
  • Education and Training (43 females or 11.5%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (38 females or 10.2%)

In comparison, Lambton employed 31.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 15.7% in Education and Training; and 7.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.
