Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Mayfield in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Construction (311 males or 12.9%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (243 males or 10.1%)
- Accommodation and Food Services (202 males or 8.4%)
In combination, these three industries employed 756 males in total or 31.3% of the total employed male resident population.
In comparison, Elermore Vale employed 14.2% in Construction; 9.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 7.8% in Accommodation and Food Services.
