Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Lambton in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (183 males or 14.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (140 males or 10.9%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (110 males or 8.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 433 males in total or 33.6% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Broadmeadow employed 12.7% in Construction; 10.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.0% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Lambton and Broadmeadow were:
