Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Kotara in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (175 males or 15.5%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (131 males or 11.6%)
  • Retail Trade (102 males or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 408 males in total or 36.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Adamstown Heights employed 15.9% in Construction; 8.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 6.1% in Retail Trade.
