Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Georgetown in 2021 compared to New Lambton Heights shows that 90.8% of the households owned at least one car, while 6.4% did not, compared with 97.7% and 0.9% respectively in New Lambton Heights.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 36.7% of the households owned one car; 40.6% owned two cars; and 13.5% owned three cars or more, compared with 21.4%; 49.9% and 26.4% respectively for New Lambton Heights.
