Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Mundaring - Mahogany Creek in 2021 compared to the Shire of Mundaring shows that 92.7% of the households owned at least one car, while 3.5% did not, compared with 94.1% and 2.5% respectively in the Shire of Mundaring.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a similar proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a similar proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 24.1% of the households owned one car; 36.6% owned two cars; and 32.0% owned three cars or more, compared with 23.8%; 38.4% and 31.9% respectively for the Shire of Mundaring.
