Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in South-East Ward in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (1,758 males or 25.7%)
  • Professionals (1,440 males or 21.0%)
  • Managers (1,014 males or 14.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 4,212 males in total or 61.5% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Heathridge employed 34.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 14.2% in Professionals; and 9.0% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of South-East Ward and Heathridge were:
