Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in City of Joondalup in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (21,153 people or 25.3%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (12,693 people or 15.2%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (11,672 people or 13.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 45,518 people in total or 54.4% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Greater Perth employed 23.7% in Professionals; 14.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 12.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
