Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in North Ward in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (2,050 males or 26.3%)
  • Professionals (1,410 males or 18.1%)
  • Managers (1,164 males or 14.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 4,624 males in total or 59.3% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, South-East Ward employed 25.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 21.0% in Professionals; and 14.8% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of North Ward and South-East Ward were:
