Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Edgewater in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (326 males or 26.9%)
  • Professionals (230 males or 19.0%)
  • Managers (194 males or 16.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 750 males in total or 61.9% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, North West Metropolitan Region employed 26.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 16.6% in Professionals; and 14.5% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Edgewater and North West Metropolitan Region were:
