Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Central Ward in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (1,882 females or 27.8%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (1,543 females or 22.8%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (1,159 females or 17.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 4,584 females in total or 67.6% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Kingsley employed 29.6% in Professionals; 24.6% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 16.3% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Central Ward and Kingsley were:
