Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Mullaloo in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (359 females or 22.0%)
  • Education and Training (277 females or 16.9%)
  • Retail Trade (160 females or 9.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 796 females in total or 48.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Joondalup employed 22.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 17.1% in Education and Training; and 10.1% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Mullaloo and the City of Joondalup were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in construction (4.7% compared to 3.7%)
  • A larger percentage of females employed in rental, hiring and real estate services (2.8% compared to 1.7%)
