Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Kinross in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (458 males or 22.6%)
  • Mining (172 males or 8.5%)
  • Retail Trade (155 males or 7.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 785 males in total or 38.7% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Joondalup employed 19.0% in Construction; 9.3% in Mining; and 6.9% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Kinross and the City of Joondalup were:
