Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Iluka in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (346 females or 21.8%)
  • Education and Training (266 females or 16.8%)
  • Retail Trade (182 females or 11.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 794 females in total or 50.0% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Australia employed 23.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.2% in Education and Training; and 10.6% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Iluka and Australia were:
