Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Edgewater in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (274 females or 24.0%)
  • Education and Training (202 females or 17.7%)
  • Retail Trade (122 females or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 598 females in total or 52.3% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Australia employed 23.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.2% in Education and Training; and 10.6% in Retail Trade.
