Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Greenwood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (693 people or 13.9%)
  • Construction (640 people or 12.8%)
  • Education and Training (543 people or 10.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,876 people in total or 37.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Sorrento employed 12.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.4% in Construction; and 11.5% in Education and Training.
