Dominant groups
Analysis of the ancestry responses of the population in Central Ward in 2021 shows that the top five ancestries nominated were:
- English (11,987 people or 46.7%)
- Australian (8,295 people or 32.3%)
- Irish (3,244 people or 12.6%)
