Occupation of employment

There were more male technicians and trades workers in the Established District in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Established District in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (4,720 males or 25.1%)
  • Managers (2,985 males or 15.9%)
  • Professionals (2,601 males or 13.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 10,306 males in total or 54.9% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Camden Council area employed 23.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 16.1% in Managers; and 14.7% in Professionals.

The major difference between the jobs held by the male population of the Established District and Camden Council area was:

  • A larger percentage of males employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (25.1% compared to 23.9%)
